Mara van Haandel has a diverse range of work experience in the pharmaceutical and dairy industry. Mara started their career at FrieslandCampina in 2010 as the Platform Leader for Yoghurt and Quark. In 2013, they joined DFE Pharma as an Innovation Manager and has since held various roles within the company, including Innovation Program Director, Marketing Director Biopharma, and currently, Customer QA and ESG Director. Mara has been with DFE Pharma since 2013.
Mara van Haandel earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Food Technology from HAS Green Academy in the years 1998-2002. Mara then went on to obtain a Master of Science degree in Food Technology from WUR Wageningen from 2002-2004.
