Roel Harbers has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Roel began their career as a Commercial Intern at Arvicon International in 2006. In 2007, they joined Zwanenberg Food Group as a Management Trainee. Roel then worked at Royal Friesland Foods as a Junior Sales Manager for a brief period in 2008.

In 2009, Harbers joined FrieslandCampina as a Key Account Manager, where they were responsible for B2B key accounts such as Nestlé, Kraft Foods, Mars, Brioche Pasquier, and August Storck. Their tasks included relationship management, acquiring new business, demand planning, and negotiating. Roel successfully increased the budget volume during their tenure.
