Currently serving as Global Business Unit Manager for Superdisintegrants & Fine Chemicals and previously as Product Group Manager for OSD lactose at DFE Pharma since June 2020, Willem has a strong background in strategic planning and optimization. Prior to this, Willem worked at FrieslandCampina from January 2014 to May 2020, holding roles as Industrial Engineer and Supply Chain Coordinator, where responsibilities included developing business cases, strategic site masterplans, and optimizing supply chain networks. Willem's academic foundation includes a PhD in Operations Research and Logistics, as well as multiple master's degrees in Management Studies and Agricultural Engineering from Wageningen University & Research.
