Samuel Burri

Samuel Burri is an accomplished technology professional with extensive experience in engineering and software development. Currently serving as Vice President of Engineering at DFINITY since June 2020, Samuel has previously held the position of Engineering Manager at the same company. Prior experience includes roles such as Section Manager Controls Software and Team Leader at Schindler Group, where responsibilities involved developing software for mid- and high-rise elevator control systems from June 2012 to May 2020. Earlier experience also includes a position as a Predoctoral Researcher at IBM from April 2008 to May 2012, and various freelance roles in web programming and database design. Samuel holds a Doctorate in Computer Science from ETH Zürich, as well as a Master's degree in the same field, and completed the High Performance Leadership Program at IMD.
