Andrea Sipka

Andrea Sipka has a diverse work experience in the field of data science and technology. Andrea currently serves as the Deputy Head of Data Science and its Applications at the Deutsches Forschungszentrum für Künstliche Intelligenz (DFKI), a position they have held since August 2023. Prior to this role, they worked as a Scientific Manager in the same department from May 2022 to August 2023.

Andrea started their career as a Junior Associate at Petnica Science Center from May 2008 to July 2009, where they provided pastoral care for pupils and delivered lectures in various subjects.

Andrea Sipka pursued a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Mathematics and Computer Science at the University of Southampton from 2010 to 2013. Following this, they completed their Masters of Science in Data Science, with a specialization in Computational and Applied Mathematics, at the Università degli Studi di Padova from 2017 to 2019.
