Günter Neumann

Principal Researcher

Günter Neumann is a principal researcher at the Deutsches Forschungszentrum für Künstliche Intelligenz (DFKI) and an apl. Professor at the Saarland University’s Department of Language Science and Technology. They obtained a Dr. rer. nat. degree in Computer Science in 1994 and the Venia Legendi in Computational Linguistics in 2004, both from Saarland University. Their research focuses on natural language driven human-computer interaction, leading the QAIE research group at DFKI, where they explore areas such as language technology, machine learning, and information extraction. Previously, Neumann served as a Wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter at Saarland University from 1989 to 1992.
