Hans Uszkoreit

Hans Uszkoreit has a diverse work experience spanning several decades. Hans co-founded nyonic in 2023 and currently holds the position of Co-Founder and Chief Scientist. Prior to that, they co-founded and served as a scientific advisor at UNICEPTA Corporate Intelligence. Additionally, they were the scientific director at Deutsches Forschungszentrum für Künstliche Intelligenz (DFKI), a co-founder at Acrolinx GmbH, and held the role of director/chief scientist at AITC Research Institution. Hans Uszkoreit has also worked as a professor at Saarland University and held positions such as chief scientist at SemanticEdge, project leader at IBM Germany, and computer scientist at SRI International.

Hans Uszkoreit pursued their education in the field of Linguistics and Computer Science. From 1973 to 1977, they attended Technische Universität Berlin, focusing on Linguistics and Computer Science. Later, from 1977 to 1984, they went to The University of Texas at Austin to obtain their PhD in Linguistics.
