Rebecca Herold

Rebecca Herold is a prominent figure in the fields of information security and privacy, serving as the CEO and cofounder of Privacy & Security Brainiacs since January 2021, and as the owner and CEO of Rebecca Herold, LLC since August 2004. With extensive experience, Rebecca has contributed to several initiatives, such as advising the Los Angeles City College Cybersecurity Certificate Program and hosting a radio show on VoiceAmerica focused on data security and privacy. As a founder of SIMBUS, LLC, Rebecca has developed methodologies and tools for various businesses. Rebecca holds esteemed positions with IEEE and the Ponemon Institute, and provides expert consulting for 3M and DFLabs, among others. Rebecca's academic background includes an M.A. in Computer Science & Education from the University of Northern Iowa and a B.S. in Math and Computer Science from the University of Central Missouri.
