John Baumann

John Baumann is an experienced professional with a diverse background in counseling, education, and communication. Currently serving as a Counselor at Directions for Youth & Families since June 2022, John previously held positions including Bartender at The Lakes Golf and Country Club, Communications Assistant at United Suicide Survivors International, and English Language Teacher at Interac. John’s military experience as a Combat Engineer in the Ohio National Guard honed skills in teamwork and explosives handling. Additional roles include Leasing Consultant at Vision Communities, Sales Associate at EXPRESS, Sound Technician at Three Legged Mare, and Student Technician at Westerville City Schools. John is pursuing a Master of Arts in Mental Health Counseling at Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania, building on a Bachelor's Degree in Management and Strategic Leadership from Ohio University and a TEFL/TESOL Certificate from the International TEFL Academy.
