Philippe Berta is a Professor Emeritus with a distinguished career in public service and academia. They served as a Deputy for Gard for seven years, contributing as a member of the culture, education, and research commission, and held various leadership roles, including President of the Rare Diseases Study Group in the National Assembly. Currently, Berta is a Senior Advisor at DGA Group and President of PHJB Consulting, while still holding an exceptional professor position at the University of Nîmes, where they were previously the director. With accomplishments including co-discovery of the SRY gene and significant involvement in research and education policy, Berta has greatly impacted both fields.
