Jake Burwood, CTS-D, CTS-I has a diverse background in the audiovisual industry, starting from their education in Sound Recording Technology at the University of Massachusetts Lowell. Jake has since worked in various roles at different companies such as Shanahan Sound & Electronics, Inc and DGI Communications, where Jake has honed their skills in installation, testing, training, service, and repair of commercial AV systems. Jake's experience ranges from being an Audio Technician/Stage Hand to now holding the title of Director of Engineering and Programming at DGI Communications. Throughout their career, Jake has focused on pre and post-sale design engineering of commercial AV systems, drawing package coordination, creation in AutoCAD, and system commissioning and close out.
