Melissa Barnes

Melissa Barnes has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Melissa started their career in 2000 as a Product Technical Consultant at Pentron Clinical Technologies, where they assisted dental professionals and provided customer support. From 2002 to 2005, they worked as an Account Executive at Sanmar Corporation, managing large volume accounts and assisting in sales and marketing. In 2005, they joined Post-n-Track as a Client Support Technician, where they supported clients with EDI software installations and processing capabilities. At Post-n-Track Corp., from 2006 to 2009, they worked as a Senior Account Manager, managing high volume accounts and ensuring efficient retention through successful completion of associated EDI files and error resolutions. Melissa then transitioned to the role of Project Manager/Sr. Payer Account Manager, conducting daily conference calls, providing support, and resolving conflicts until 2012. Melissa joined HB, A Diversified Company in 2016 as an HBview T1 Support, responsible for supporting HBview T1 and later became a Project Manager in 2018. Currently, they are working as a Project Manager at DGI Communications, where they are responsible for overseeing and managing projects.

Melissa Barnes obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Nutritional Sciences from the University of Connecticut, where they studied from 1994 to 1999. Melissa also earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition Sciences from the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources during the same time period. In terms of additional certifications, Melissa obtained the OSHA 30 certification from DGI Communications in May 2023, and the OSHA certification from HB, A Diversified Company in March 2022.
