Kyle W. Layton, PE

Kyle W. Layton, PE has extensive work experience in the field of civil engineering and structural design. Kyle W. started their career in 2009 as an Intern at the Lake Country Engineers Office, where they conducted traffic studies and generated reports. In 2010, they worked as a Co-op at Diamond Z Engineering, primarily involved in P&ID projects for BP Terminals, including on-site inspections and creating or revising P&ID diagrams using AutoCAD. From 2012 to 2013, Kyle worked as a Graduate Student at the University of Toledo, where they completed coursework, worked as a Teaching Assistant and Graduate Assistant, and produced a thesis on the use of acoustic emission in detecting corrosion in suspension bridge cables. Since January 2014, Kyle has been working at DGL Consulting Engineers, LLC as a Senior Structural Engineer, providing clients with structural engineering solutions for facility and site development projects. Kyle W.'sdesign expertise includes foundation design, masonry design, wood framed structures, and structural steel design.

Additionally, during the same period, they also pursued a Business Minor in Business Administration and Management, General from the University of Toledo. Later, in 2013, Kyle completed their Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Civil Engineering from The University of Toledo.
