Levan Ekhvaia

Levan Ekhvaia possesses extensive experience in sustainable building and construction management, currently serving as Manager (Team Lead) for DGNB International Certification and as a DGNB Academy Trainer at the DGNB German Sustainable Building Council since July 2014. Responsibilities include implementing worldwide training courses, developing the international certification system, and providing consultancy related to lifecycle assessment and costing. Levan is also a Co-Founder of the Ukrainian Green Building Council as of November 2023. Prior experience includes significant roles at Tbilisi City Hall, overseeing municipal renovation projects and supervising construction quality. Levan's educational background includes multiple master's degrees in Construction and Real Estate Management from Hochschule für Technik und Wirtschaft Berlin and Metropolia University of Applied Sciences, alongside a qualification in Mechanical Engineering from Georgian Technical University.
