Michael Hynek

Michael Hynek has over 30 years of experience in the technology industry. Michael began their career in 1989 as a Project Management/Information Technology Engineer at Commonwealth Edison. In 1995, they moved to IBM Global Services as a Specialist. In 1996, they joined Allied Computer Group as a Senior System Engineer, where they achieved certification at various levels. In 2000, they joined Inacom Information Systems as a Senior Consulting Engineer and Lead Technical Trainer. In 2008, they moved to Paragon Development Systems as a Senior Microsoft Architect. In 2013, they joined CDW as a Senior Consulting Engineer - Microsoft Unified Communications. In 2015, they joined COMPAREX as a Microsoft Cloud Solutions Architect. In 2016, they moved to Microsoft as an Industry Solutions Senior Consultant. Theirmost recent role was Cloud Architect at DGR Systems, which they held from 2022 until present.

Michael Hynek holds a Bachelor of Science (BSEE) in Electrical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville, obtained between 1985 and 1990. Michael then obtained a Masters Degree in Engineering Management from the Milwaukee School of Engineering between 1992 and 1993. In 1995 and 1996, they took MBA Finance classes at Marquette University. Michael then obtained a Masters in Information Technology with a focus on Cyber Security from Virginia Tech. Currently, they are taking courses at the University of Wisconsin-Madison's Center for Professional and Executive Development (CPED).

In addition to their formal education, Michael Hynek has obtained numerous certifications from Microsoft, LinkedIn, and other institutions.
