Abiel Sifuentes is currently employed as an IT Technician and Housing Eligibility Specialist at the Dallas Housing Authority (DHA) since November 2021, where responsibilities include reviewing intake applications and researching housing issues for individuals or families experiencing homelessness. Prior experience includes serving as a CPS PCSP Admin Assistant at the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services from December 2020 to November 2021, and an internship at The Boys and Girls Club of San Marcos, Texas, where Abiel mentored at-risk youth through tutoring programs and emotional support. Earlier roles encompass positions as a Retail Sales Consultant at ATT & More and a Retail Sales Associate at Nike. Abiel holds a Bachelor's degree in Applied Sociology from Texas State University, completed in 2019.

DHA, Housing Solutions for North Texas provides quality, affordable housing and supportive services to low-income families and individuals through the effective and efficient administration of housing assistance programs across seven North Texas counties: Collin, Dallas, Denton, Ellis, Kaufman, Rockwall, and Tarrant.
