Chetana Chaphekar, CPA has a diverse work experience in the field of financial management. Chetana began their career as the Vice President of Fiscal and Business Operations at Houston Housing Authority in November 1989. Chetana held this position for over 20 years before joining DHA in March 2010 as the Chief Financial Officer. Chetana's expertise in financial management was further showcased during their time as the CFO at the Association for Advancement of Mexican Americans in 2005. Throughout their career, Chetana has consistently demonstrated their proficiency and dedication in managing financial operations.

Chetana Chaphekar, CPA has a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting & Auditing from the University of Bombay. Chetana also holds a Bachelor's Degree in Law from the same university. Additionally, they are a Certified Public Accountant, certified by the Texas State Board of Public Accountancy.
