David Zappasodi is a seasoned professional in the housing and community development sector, serving as Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at DHA since November 2016, where mentorship of a skilled team focuses on providing safe, affordable housing and related resources. Previously, David held the position of Executive Director at the Housing Authority of the City of Arlington, where leadership included community development initiatives, and served as Deputy Director at the Housing Authority of the City of Houston, overseeing extensive administrative and operational responsibilities. Early career roles include Director of Assisted Housing Programs in both Baltimore County and Howard County, as well as Manager of the Regional and City Section 8 program in Baltimore City. David earned a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology from Loyola and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania.

DHA, Housing Solutions for North Texas provides quality, affordable housing and supportive services to low-income families and individuals through the effective and efficient administration of housing assistance programs across seven North Texas counties: Collin, Dallas, Denton, Ellis, Kaufman, Rockwall, and Tarrant. The agency aims to create opportunities for participants to achieve self-sufficiency and economic independence. DHA provides housing opportunities to 55,700 people through its housing programs. DHA is the 8th largest Housing Choice Voucher program in the nation and the 10th largest public housing agency in the nation.
