Omar Delawar

Omar Delawar serves as the Chief Executive Officer of DHB Holding since June 2019, focusing on residential and commercial developments across the Middle East, North Africa, and the USA. Additionally, Omar co-founded Omni Project Development Consultancy in 2023. Previously, as CEO of the Special Projects Office from September 2018 to April 2019, Omar led a team in managing engineering projects and operational strategies. A notable tenure was spent at Meraas Holding from 2008 to 2018 as Chief Projects Officer, where Omar spearheaded various projects in Dubai and implemented standard operating procedures. Omar's earlier positions include Executive Director of Engineering at the Engineers Office, Operation Manager at NAGA Architects, and Technical Manager at Alexandria Construction Company, among others. Omar holds multiple master’s degrees from Universitat de Barcelona and ZIGURAT Institute of Technology in Global Smart Cities Management, alongside a Bachelor's in Architecture from Alexandria University and a Diploma in Construction and Project Management from the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport.
