Sara Jackson is a senior metocean engineer and team lead at DHI A/S, where they focus on advanced numerical models and analysis techniques in offshore wind. From 2016 to 2019, they were instrumental in delivering metocean assessments for numerous offshore wind projects across Northern Europe and other regions. Sara's commitment to the field is complemented by a long-standing passion for sailing, both as a competitor and coach, participating in events nationally and internationally. They hold a Master’s degree in Meteorology and Climate from the University of Reading, having furthered their expertise with a course in Advanced Wave Hydrodynamics at the Technical University of Denmark. Currently, Sara continues to explore innovative approaches in metocean modeling while contributing to the offshore wind industry.
