Orla Thorne has extensive work experience in the finance field, primarily with DHL Express Ireland and DHL Global Forwarding. Orla started their career in 1999 as a Financial Accountant at DHL Global Forwarding and worked there until 2005. In 2005, they joined DHL Express Ireland as a Financial Controller and held this position until 2018. Orla then became the Chief Financial Officer in January 2019 at DHL Express Ireland.
Orla Thorne attended Griffith College Dublin from 1991 to 1997, where they pursued a degree in Accounting. Orla completed their studies and obtained an ACCA degree in this field.
