Radha Krishna Kavuluru has a strong background in the field of space research and technology. They started their career in 2015 as a Project Scientist at the Advanced Data processing Research Institute (ADRIN-ISRO). From 2016 to 2018, they worked as a Scientist at the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), focusing on satellite imagery, data processing, and calibration of space assets. During this time, they also developed Bhuvan suvidha, a national geospatial data sharing service.
In 2018, Radha joined the Antarctica Ground Station for Earth Observation Satellites (ISRO), where they installed mission-critical hardware for a space asset and gained experience in ground station operations. From 2019 to 2023, they served as a Scientist and Project Manager at ISRO, leading various projects such as data dissemination workflows and developing deep learning models for cloud and water extraction. They also developed software for product quality control and data visualization portals.
Currently, Radha Krishna Kavuluru is working at Dhruva Space as a Principal Engineer in Software & Firmware.
Radha Krishna Kavuluru completed a Bachelor of Technology degree in Computer Science and Advanced Physics from the Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology in the years 2012-2016. In 2018, they obtained a certification in Business Analytics and Machine Learning from the Indian Statistical Institute. In 2019, they completed a short-term course on Advances in Deep Learning from the International Institute of Information Technology Hyderabad. Recently, in 2020-2022, Radha Krishna pursued a Master of Business Administration degree with a focus on Information Technology from Amity University. Additionally, they obtained various certifications in subjects such as Advanced Design Patterns, SQL for Query Tuning, Agile Development Practices, Agile Foundations, Scrum, and Cloud Architecture.
