Elizabeth Amias

Elizabeth Amias is an experienced professional in service development and historical research, currently serving as the Deputy Director of Service Development at DHU Healthcare since February 2020. With a strong background in urgent care, Elizabeth has previously held roles such as Service Improvement Manager for NHS West Leicestershire Clinical Commissioning Group and Project Manager for the Guild of St Martin at Leicester Cathedral. Additionally, Elizabeth operates a self-employed venture as a historian, offering research services through Elizabeth Amias History Services since 2009. Early career experiences include curatorial positions at East Surrey Museum and Eden Valley Museum, where significant advancements were made in operational practices and public engagement. Elizabeth holds a Bachelor of Arts in Archaeology from Cardiff University and a Master’s degree in Museum Studies from the University of Leicester.
