Jaanika Peerna

Jaanika Peerna is a seasoned visual artist and cultural affairs coordinator with extensive experience in the art field since 1996, operating Jaanika Peerna Studio. As a fine artist, Jaanika specializes in drawing, video, and installation art while also curating and managing art-related projects. Jaanika's role at the Estonian Consulate General in New York focuses on cultural affairs, and work at the Dia Art Foundation involves creating and conducting educational tours. Previous positions include being a represented artist at IdeelArt, teaching artist at Dia:Beacon, and film director at White Wall Pictures. Jaanika's academic background includes an MFA in Fine Art from SUNY New Paltz and an MFA in art education from Tallinn University.
