Diego Rey is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in sales and management across various companies in the retail sector. Currently serving as Director Regional Galicia at DIA Group since January 2020, Diego previously held the role of Gerente regional de ventas at Lidl España, overseeing 30 business units and managing a team of 600 individuals. Additionally, Diego worked as a Consultor senior ventas internacional at Lidl International, focusing on sales process optimization across 25 countries. Earlier roles include Jefe de ventas and Responsable de Imagen Tienda at LIDL Supermercados SAU, alongside experience in marketing and sales as an intern at Ronhill & hilly in the UK, and managerial responsibilities in a family business hotel. Diego holds a Master’s degree in International Business from Universidad CEU San Pablo and has pursued international education at University of Rome Tor Vergata and Universidad de Santiago de Compostela.
