Leah Siversky

Leah Siversky is a seasoned communications and public relations professional with extensive experience across various organizations. Currently serving as the Senior Manager of Communications and Public Relations at Diabetes Canada since July 2022, Leah previously held the position of Public Relations & Communications Manager at Plan International Canada from January 2020 to June 2022. Leah has a strong background in designing and executing media strategies, advancing advocacy initiatives, and fostering corporate partnerships. Prior to these roles, Leah traveled internationally for a year, visiting 32 countries, and worked in various capacities including Media and Public Relations Specialist and Communications and Public Engagement Coordinator at Plan International Canada, as well as Communications and Marketing Specialist at the Canadian Council on Animal Care. Earlier in the career, Leah contributed as Managing Editor at Snapd Guelph and gained experience through internships at CBC/Radio-Canada. Leah holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Guelph and additional education from Sheridan Institute of Technology and Advanced Learning.
