Leslie Sarauer

Leslie Sarauer is an experienced human resources executive currently serving as a Board Member at Achēv and a Governance Committee Member at CHATS, as well as a People & Culture Committee Member at Diabetes Canada since December 2023. Previously, Leslie held the position of Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer at Extendicare Inc. from February 2020 to September 2023, where significant accomplishments included the design and leadership of a new Human Resources team. Prior roles include Senior Vice President of Human Resources at OpenText, Senior Director of Corporate HR & Organizational Development at Agrium, and Principal at Mercer. Leslie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and a Bachelor of Laws from Queen's University, an Advanced HR Executive Program certification from the University of Michigan, and completed the Bar Admission Course from the Law Society of Upper Canada.
