Diabetes Patient Advocacy Coalition
Hunter Limbaugh serves as the Board Chair of the Diabetes Patient Advocacy Coalition, overseeing a large volunteer organization focused on diabetes advocacy since January 2015. Additionally, Hunter has been a member of the Board of Directors for the Diabetes Leadership Council since January 2014, contributing to policy and advocacy on an international level. Hunter holds the position of Southeastern Counsel with the Wine Institute from June 2004 and previously chaired the National Board of Directors for the American Diabetes Association from January 2012 to January 2013, reflecting a decade of dedication to the organization. Hunter's experience includes roles in government relations, law, and public service, having served as Chief Legal Counsel to the Governor of South Carolina and as a legislator in the state. Hunter began a legal career as a partner at Willcox Law Firm from January 1990 to July 1997 and holds a Doctor of Law degree from Stetson University College of Law, along with a Bachelor's degree from Stetson University.

The Diabetes Patient Advocacy Coalition (DPAC) is an alliance of people with diabetes, caregivers, patient advocates, health professionals, disease organizations and companies working collaboratively to promote and support public policy initiatives to improve the health of people with diabetes. DPAC seeks to ensure the safety and quality of medications, devices, and services; and access to care for all 37 million Americans with diabetes.
