Janine Blakeway- Ely

Janine Blakeway-Ely is an experienced professional in the field of marketing and innovation, currently serving as the Head of European Innovation for Whisky, Vodka, Tequila, and Baileys at Diageo since January 2019, following a role as Head of European Whisky Innovation and European Gin & Aperitivo Innovation. Previously, Janine held the position of Innovation Controller for Bisto & Saxa at Premier Foods, and Lead Marketing Innovation Manager for Chocolate at Mars. Early career experience includes brand management roles at Coca-Cola, Cadbury plc., and Cereal Partners UK, among others. Janine began their career as an HR Assistant and Assistant Events Coordinator at Delia Smith's Canary Catering and holds a BA Honours degree in Business Studies (Marketing) from Nottingham Trent University.
