Zan Halford

Zan Halford is a highly qualified Medical Technologist with extensive experience in molecular pathology and clinical laboratory practices. Currently employed at Diagnostic Laboratory Services since May 2018, Zan has been responsible for testing, validating, and training in infectious and genetic diseases, establishing QA/QC measures, and mastering standard operating procedures while adhering to CLIA and CAP regulations. Previous positions include Clinical Laboratory Specialist roles at The Queen's Medical Center and Hawaii Pathologists' Laboratory, where responsibilities included method development and optimization in molecular biology. Zan holds a Master's Degree in Molecular Bioscience and Bioengineering and a Bachelor's Degree in Biology from the University of Hawaii at Manoa, complemented by ASCP certification in Molecular Biology and licensure as a Clinical Laboratory Specialist in Hawaii.
