Zhen Yan M.D.

Zhen Yan, MD, PhD, is an accomplished pathologist currently employed at Diagnostic Pathology Medical Group, Inc. since July 2018, specializing in gastrointestinal, genitourinary, and head and neck pathology. In addition, Zhen Yan serves as Medical Director at Sutter Solano Medical Center since March 2021 and previously held the position of Clinical Instructor at UCSF Medical Center, focusing on genitourinary and head and neck pathology from July 2017 to June 2018. Zhen Yan completed a fellowship in surgical, liver, and gastrointestinal pathology at the University of California San Francisco Medical Center from July 2014 to June 2017, following a residency in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology at the same institution and at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas from July 2011 to June 2014.
