Kristen Darby

Kristen Darby has a diverse work experience spanning various leadership roles in marketing, business agility, and innovation. Kristen is currently serving as the VP of Marketing at Dialexa, an IBM Company, since March 2021. Prior to this, they worked as the VP of Business Agility at RGP from April 2020 to March 2021. In 2019, Kristen founded and acted as the CEO of [X] Centered Strategies until April 2020. Their previous experience includes serving as the Director of Sales Enablement, Marketing, and Communications at Hitachi Global Digital Holdings from May 2018 to August 2019. Before that, they held multiple leadership positions at Hitachi Consulting, including Director of Solutions and Innovations from March 2016 to May 2018, Director of Enterprise Information Management from October 2011 to March 2016, and Senior Manager from November 2007 to October 2011. Kristen also founded DKD Solutions in 2006 before joining Hitachi Consulting. Kristen started their career in Publishing Systems Strategy at Harcourt Education in February 1998, where they worked until March 2006. Additionally, they had a role in Publishing Systems Strategy at Holt Rinehart & Winston from 1998 to 2005.

Kristen Darby earned their Bachelor of Journalism degree in Public Relations from The University of Texas at Austin from 1988 to 1991. Kristen then pursued their Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Management of Information Systems at St. Edward's University from 2002 to 2004. In addition to their formal education, Kristen has obtained various certifications, including Certified Product Owner and Certified Scrum Master from Scrum Alliance, PMI Certified Agile Practitioner (PMI-ACP) from PMI, PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) from PMI, and Certified SAFe® 5 Agilist from Scaled Agile, Inc. Kristen has also completed a course on Design Thinking for Innovation through Coursera.
