Ben Heaney

Ben Heaney has a wealth of experience in the business world. Ben began their career in 2008 as an Intern at HSBC France, where they worked for the Head of "Leading International Business" Strategy, France. In 2010, they joined Bakkavor as part of the Finance Accelerated Management Scheme. In 2011, they held internships at The Black and White Group and Talbot Underwriting, where they gained experience in global market research, higher education institution valuations, and Lloyd's exposure. Ben also had a Gap Year in 2005, during which they sailed across the Atlantic from Bermuda to the Azores, and visited South Georgia and the Antarctic peninsula. In 2012, they became a Political Risk Insurance Broker at Berry Palmer & Lyle. From 2014 to 2019, they held various roles, including Account Manager at Solmondo, Assistant Underwriter at Latin American Underwriters Ltd., Head of Political Risk, Terrorism & Surety at Aon, and Founder & CEO at Dialogue Exchange.

Ben Heaney attended Marlborough College from 2000 to 2005, and then the University of Southampton from 2006 to 2010, where they earned a BSc in Management Science and French.
