Ajita John

Ajita John is a seasoned professional in the field of machine learning and artificial intelligence with extensive experience in academia and industry. Currently serving as the Director of Machine Learning at Dialpad since October 2021, Ajita previously held the position of Vice President of Artificial Intelligence at Koopid, which was acquired by Dialpad. In addition to industry roles, Ajita contributes as an Adjunct Professor at Rutgers University, teaching courses in natural language processing, deep learning, and data management for the Masters in Data Science program. Prior experience includes leadership positions at Avaya Labs Research and Ispsoft Inc, along with foundational work at Bell Labs Lucent Technologies. Ajita holds a PhD in Computer Science from The University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Science.
