Doug Syers

Doug Syers has a strong background in compliance and accounting. Doug started their career at JPMorgan Chase as a Sr. Fund Accountant from 2000 to 2003. Doug then joined GlobeOp Financial Services as an Accounting Manager from 2003 to 2005.

In 2005, Doug moved to Balyasny Asset Management L.P. where they held various roles. Doug started as an Accounting Manager from 2005 to 2014, then transitioned to a Sr. Compliance Officer in 2015, and finally became the Director of Compliance from 2016 to 2022.

Currently, Doug is working at Diameter Capital Partners LP as the Director of Compliance, a position they have held since November 2022.

Doug Syers earned a Bachelor's degree in Finance from San Diego State University between the years 1998 and 2000.
