Jennifer Chu has a diverse work experience, starting in the year 2000 with their role as an E-commerce Operations Manager at Primelight E-commerce. Jennifer managed accounts for multiple fashion apparel, beauty, and cosmetics clients and successfully created the company's customer service department and returns/exchange process.
In 2003, they joined Bisou Bisou as an E-commerce Manager and played a key role in re-structuring and re-organizing the brand's online business. Jennifer developed marketing strategies that resulted in a 12% increase in online sales and managed various operations such as projecting, merchandising, order processing, customer service, fulfillment, and budget management.
From 2003 to 2007, Jennifer worked as an E-commerce Manager at Lucky Brand. Jennifer successfully managed the brand's DTC business and led the launch of their Wholesale B2B and Retail Intranet websites.
In 2007, they joined iT Jeans Inc as an E-commerce/Logistics Manager. During their tenure, they developed a business plan for the company's DTC website, managed daily warehouse logistics operations, and restructured customer service communication processes to support the growing wholesale sales team.
In 2016, Jennifer joined SpireWorks® - Modern Döner as the Director of Marketing. Jennifer was responsible for leading marketing and creative strategies to launch a new fast-casual restaurant concept centered around Turkish Döner. Jennifer directly worked with the CEO to achieve the marketing goals.
Jennifer's most recent role is at Diamond Art Club, where they joined in 2020. Jennifer started as the Director of Sales & E-commerce and was later promoted to the position of VP of Business Operations & Strategic Partnerships. Jennifer'sresponsibilities include overseeing business operations and strategic partnerships to drive growth and managing the daily workflow and budgets of the company.
Throughout their career, Jennifer has demonstrated their expertise in e-commerce, marketing, creative strategies, team management, and budget planning.
Jennifer Chu is currently pursuing an Executive MBA degree in Finance & Governance from the UCLA Anderson School of Management, with an expected completion year of 2023. Prior to this, they earned an MFA degree from UCLA's School of Theater, Film & Television. Jennifer's educational journey began at Washington University in St. Louis, where they obtained a B.A. degree in East Asian Studies.
