Matthew Valasek

Matt started with the company in 1996. He assumed managerial roles within the first few years of employment and has seen the company grow from a work force of 25 employees to the current staff of over 1000 employees. His responsibilities include oversight of all pharmacy operations for the skilled nursing division, personal care division, and correctional division as well as Diamond’s IT department, systems development, customer service, and purchasing. His vision on automation, barcode technology, and workflow management has positioned Diamond to meet the needs and challenges of today’s correctional marketplace. He also envisioned the need for a wholesale and repackaging division to meet the needs of the client base and started Diamond Wholesale along with RemedyRepack. Matt continues to play a vital role in Diamond’s operational initiatives and continues working with the team to provide leadership in the development and purchasing of new software/technology/hardware for quality improvement/new business.
