Shane Bills

Shane Bills has extensive experience in fleet management and operations. Shane started their career at Discovery Air in 1995 as Head of Operations, where they managed all aspects of a fixed-based operation, including fueling, maintenance, and repair. Shane then worked as Head of Operations at PLE Fleet Management from 2000 to 2013. Following that, they held roles as Fleet Maintenance Manager at Robar Enterprises in 2013, Maintenance Manager at Athens Services from 2014 to 2017, and Fleet Manager at SECC Corporation from 2017 to 2019. Shane is currently serving as Fleet Director at Diamond Environmental Services.

Shane Bills completed their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree from Brigham Young University - Idaho in 2020. Before that, from 1992 to 1996, they attended the University of Phoenix where they studied Business Administration. In addition to their formal education, Shane Bills has obtained several certifications throughout their career. These include the Aircraft Flight Instructor certification from the Federal Aviation Administration (obtained in November 2022), the EPA Section 608 Certification from the ESCO Institute (obtained in July 2021), the Certified VMRS Specialist certification from the Technology & Maintenance Council (TMC) of American Trucking Associations, Inc. (obtained in April 2021), and the ASE Medium/Heavy Truck Technician certification from the ASE Training Managers Council (obtained in March 2019). Shane is also in progress of obtaining the Certified Automotive Fleet Manager (CAFM) certification. Shane Bills holds a Class A CDL Combination, Tanker, Doubles, Triples, and Haz Mat endorsement from the California Department of Motor Vehicles (obtained in May 2016). Among their other certifications, they have completed the Air Brake System Training Operation and Maintenance of Heavy Duty Vehicle Air Brake Systems and Components from Bendix Commercial Vehicle Systems LLC (obtained in September 2013), and they have been awarded the "Vendor of the year" title by Ryder Truck Leasing and Rental (achieved in January 2006). Additionally, Shane Bills obtained an ASE certification from the ASE Training Managers Council in November 2000. Prior to their formal education, they obtained various certifications such as the Advanced Ground Instructor certification from the Federal Aviation Administration (obtained in April 1996), the Advanced Navigation certification from the US Coast Guard Auxiliary (obtained in June 1992), the Commercial Pilot certification from the Federal Aviation Administration (obtained in April 1992), and the Open Water Scuba Diver certification from PADI (obtained in March 1986).
