Michael Calonico

VP Finance at Diamond Foundry

Michael Calonico is the VP Finance at Diamond Foundry. Michael has over four years of experience as a Controller, most recently at Trion Worlds, Inc. where they were responsible for the company's worldwide accounting staff and all of the company's accounting functions. Michael reported directly to the company's Chief Financial Officer and was responsible for all technical accounting matters including revenue recognition, sales reserves, debt issuances, equity, stock compensation, accruals and fixed assets.

During their time at Trion Worlds, Inc. they also developed and designed internal account controls for procurement and pay process and product setup. Michael prepared monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and due diligence reports for senior management and investors. In addition, they were responsible for the management of the company's ERP system and collaborated with multiple departments to create efficiency in data transmission to the ERP system.

Michael has also been responsible for daily interactions with and coordinate relationship with banks, investors, debt holders and license partners including covenant requirements, royalty reporting and questions regarding financial results. As well as preparing cash-flow forecasts, monthly revenue and expense projections, preparation of the finance and operation team budget. And finally, collaborating with sales and marketing on pricing discussions and evaluating new payment method and implementation strategies.

Michael Calonico has a Masters in Accounting from Golden Gate University and a BS in Accounting from the University of San Francisco.

Michael Calonico reports to Martin Roscheisen, CEO & Founder. Some direct reports include Mingsheng Wang - Senior Data Science Manager, Ben Quick - Director, Business Technology. They are on a team with Toby Cruse - GM, Rough Diamond Business, Jeroen Van Duren - VP Tech Applications, and Thao A. Nguyen - COO, Production.
