Michael Shirk is an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in laser applications, materials engineering, and process development. Currently serving as the Director of Engineering at Diamond Foundry since January 2020, Michael leads efforts to innovate diamond cutting and shaping processes for the power electronics, AI, and computation sectors. Previous roles include Principal Process and Equipment Engineer at Diamond Foundry, Member of Technical Staff at MultiD Systems, and Staff Applications Engineer at Confluent Medical Technologies, where Michael focused on laser technology for medical devices.
