David Omar

David Omar is a highly experienced engineer with a strong background in electronic engineering, holding a BEng/MEng degree from Bangor University. Since March 2012, David has served as a Senior Engineer at Diamond Light Source, specializing in FPGA development for detector readout electronics. Prior to this role, David held principal engineering positions at Nokia Siemens Networks and Motorola Solutions, and worked as a Senior Engineer at Cray Communications. Earlier career experience includes design engineering at Deltest Systems and a graduate engineering role at Ferranti Computer Systems.
