Liam Chisman is a Mechanical Design Engineer at Diamond Light Source since February 2021, providing operational support and engaging in research and development for next-generation equipment at the UK's national synchrotron facility. Previously, Liam served as a Research Assistant at The University of Sheffield from September 2017 to February 2021, focusing on valve wear research in collaboration with Jaguar Land Rover and designing an engine test cell. Liam holds a Doctorate in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Sheffield and a Master of Engineering (MEng) from the same institution.
