Naman Gera

Naman Gera is a Research Software Engineer at Diamond Light Source since October 2022, focusing on developing software for high-throughput tomography in the Data Analysis group. Prior experience includes serving as a Compiler Developer at GSI Technology, where contributions were made to LPython, a fast ahead-of-time Python compiler. Naman also contributed to the open-source project SymPy while actively participating in Google Summer of Code as a mentor and fellow, developing a Control Systems engineering module. Naman holds an undergraduate degree in Electronics Engineering from the Indian Institute of Information Technology Guwahati, completed in 2022.
