Pamela Reynolds has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and organizations. Pamela began their career as a Research Assistant at The University of Cambridge, where they contributed to a team studying the identification and characterization of type 1 diabetes susceptibility genes. Pamela then pursued a PhD at the University of Reading before joining the Gray Institute, University of Oxford as a Postdoctoral Research Scientist. In this role, Pamela managed research projects, analyzed data, and presented findings at conferences. Pamela also worked as a Freelance Academic Editor, providing editing services for research articles. Currently, they are working at Diamond Light Source, where they started as the Laboratory Services Manager and later became the Head of Science Infrastructure Group. In these positions, Pamela has played crucial roles in the coordination and management of laboratory operations and has implemented new systems and policies.
