Randall Crawford has a diverse work experience in the oil and gas industry. Randall started their career as a Field Intern at Chesapeake Energy in 2010, where they gained experience in completions, production, roustabout work, pumping, pad maintenance, and well stimulation. In 2011, they interned again at Chesapeake Energy, this time as an Operations Intern, where they gained further experience in recompletion evaluation, hydraulic fracturing, rod pump design, well economics, and new product evaluation.

In 2012, Crawford joined Halliburton as a Production Consultant, where they specialized in custom engineering workflow creation, artificial lift candidate evaluation, near wellbore flow modeling, completion design evaluation, and software pilot tests. Randall also provided production support for the BP Base Management team, creating custom engineering workflows for production and asset surveillance.

Crawford then moved to SandRidge Energy in 2014 as a Production Engineer for their Permian and Mid Continent operations. In these roles, they managed hundreds of producing assets and implemented economic workover inventory and failure analysis programs. Randall also collaborated with vendors and field teams to develop efficient chemical programs and automate daily production processes.

In 2018, Crawford joined Shell as a Production Engineer, specializing in the Permian and Delaware Basin. In this role, they managed various types of artificial lift systems, conducted surveillance reviews, implemented optimization projects, and led root cause failure analysis efforts. Randall also took on the responsibility of being the Permian Gas Lift focal point, where they developed design standards, troubleshooting protocols, and failure analysis standards for gas lift wells.

Most recently, Crawford joined Diamondback Energy in 2020 as a Senior Staff Production Engineer. In this role, they are responsible for managing rod pump, gas lift, and ESP wells in the Southern region of the Delaware Basin.
