Sam Powell

Sam Powell currently serves as the Senior Advisor of Technical Accounting at Diamondback Energy since August 2023. Prior to this role, Sam Powell accumulated nearly a decade of experience at EY, progressing from Assurance Staff to Assurance Senior Manager from September 2013 to August 2023. Earlier, Sam Powell gained experience as an Activity Class Instructor at Brigham Young University, teaching sports such as Tennis, Racquetball, and Volleyball, and held the position of Off-Campus Accounts Receivable Clerk. Additionally, an internship at Simon Consulting, LLC, was completed in the summer of 2011. Sam Powell holds a Master’s degree in Accounting from Brigham Young University, earned in 2013.
