Erin Talbot

Erin Talbot has over 15 years of experience in human resources, with a focus on strategic consulting, workforce planning, and employee relations. Erin began their career at Northwestern Mutual as a Recruiter/Office Manager before moving on to roles as an HR Generalist at Thompson Child & Family Focus and a Human Resources Generalist at Muzak. At Hospice & Palliative Care Charlotte Region, they served as an HR Team Manager, overseeing various HR functions and supporting 400 employees. Talbot then worked as an HR Business Partner at Novant Health, providing strategic consulting to leaders and supporting 2,500 employees. Erin later became a Regional HR Business Partner at Compass Group. Currently, Talbot is employed at Diamonds Direct, first as a Director of Human Resources and now as the Vice President of Human Resources, where they focus on implementing strategy, building a unique culture, and prioritizing employee well-being. Erin is also a member of the Women in Retail Leadership Circle.

Erin Talbot holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Management, which was obtained from Patten University between 2014 and 2015. Prior to that, Erin completed a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree with a concentration in Human Resources at UNC Charlotte Belk College of Business from 2000 to 2002. Apart from these academic accomplishments, Erin has also obtained several certifications. These include a sHRBP (Strategic Human Resources Business Partner) certification from the Human Capital Institute (HCI) in May 2023, a Workhuman Certified Professional certification from Workhuman in May 2022, and a PHR (Professional in Human Resources) certification from HRCI (Human Resources Certification Institute) in March 2013.
