Afton Sleichter, G.G., has extensive experience in the jewelry industry, currently serving as the Regional Operations Leader at Diamonds Direct since February 2014, where roles have included Regional Back Office Manager and Graduate Gemologist. Prior experience includes positions at Alpha Sigma Alpha Sorority as a Membership Commitment Advisor, Charleston Alexander Diamond Importers as a Graduate Gemologist, and Washington Diamond as a Graduate Gemologist, among others. Afton Sleichter holds a degree in Art History from Virginia Commonwealth University and certifications as a Graduate Gemologist, Accredited Jewelry Professional, and Graduate Pearls from the Gemological Institute of America.
