Alexander Mittelstädt has a diverse work experience in the field of research and academia. Alexander is currently working as an R&D Engineer at DiaMonTech AG since August 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Technische Universität Berlin for several roles. From March 2022 to July 2022, they were a Wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter mit Lehraufgaben (Postdoktorand), where they conducted research projects focused on theory and simulation of quantum-electronic and -optical properties. Alexander also contributed to writing research grant proposals, publishing in peer-reviewed journals, and teaching university lectures and exams. From 2017 to February 2022, they served as a Wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter mit Lehrauftrag, where they taught and coordinated courses, mentored teaching assistants, and received training in didactics and evaluation. From October 2011 to September 2016, they worked as a Lehrassistent, supporting physics courses for engineers and developing lab courses.
Alexander Mittelstädt earned their Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from Technische Universität Berlin from 2007 to 2011. Alexander then pursued a Master of Science degree in Physics from the same institution, completing it from 2011 to 2016. Currently, Alexander is a doctoral candidate at Technische Universität Berlin, working towards a doctorate in Festkörperphysik und Photonik, expected to be completed in 2022.
