Karin Lavon

Karin Lavon, PhD, currently serves as a Principal R&D Engineer at Edwards Lifesciences since November 2020. Prior to this role, Karin was a lecturer at Tel Aviv University from October 2015 to November 2020, teaching "Statics and Strength of Materials" to second-year architecture students, while also contributing as a Ph.D. candidate in Mechanical Engineering. Karin's academic journey includes earning a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Mechanical Engineering (2016-2020), a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering (2013-2016), and a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering (2009-2013) from Tel Aviv University. Additionally, Karin has experience as a Teaching Assistant for the "Mechanics Laboratory for Bio-medical Engineering."
